The Plastics Group of America's Polifil®: Products Earn Coveted NSF Approval

October 5, 2009 – (Woonsocket, RI – October 5, 2009) – The Plastics Group of America (TPG) announced today that its Black Polifil® GFPPCC-2005 WS and White Polifil® GFPPCC-2005 WS Polypropylene Resins had earned NSF certification.

Simply stated, NSF approval means that plastic parts and components made with either Polifil product will be potable water safe, making them ideal for pipes, fittings, or any other applications that will come into contact with drinking water.

According to David Peterson, TPG’s General Manager, “we procured the NSF certification for these resins to meet our customers’ requirements, saving them time and providing them with exceptional, pre-qualified materials for use in the molding of the parts they will require.
