One of the Plastics Group's employees with the longest record of service to the company is Tom Bennett, assistant Plant Manager at the company's in Woonsocket, RI headquarters. Tom has been with the company since 1981.
Tom's main responsibility is to keep all the company's machines and production lines running efficiently. He services and repairs machines as needed, manages deliveries, and assists in the general daily operation of the plant.
"Tommy is irreplaceable, " said Bob Lebeaux, President of The Plastic Group.
"He wears a lot of hats in his job, and handles everything well. He has been an important part of the company for many years."
Tom is married and has three children, Maria, Diana and Thomas Jr. Away from work he enjoys playing softball and has recently taken up a new occupation- serving as a head coach of this son's youth football team, the Northern RI Vikings.
